Hell exists within an anti-deSitter “pocket universe” with a negative hyperbolic (Lobachevskian) geometry rather than the positive Riemannian curvature of our universe. This inverts the operation of gravity, such that the inhabitants of Hell walk feet outward on the inside surface of a hollow sphere with a total of 5 million square miles of area. The stars of our universe are never visible from Hell, as the land wraps around to become the sky. Light and heat are supplied by the Lake of Fire, which waxes and wanes to provide day-night cycles and seasons. Star systems in the Continuity are accessible by portals found at the twenty-one temples of Hell. The temple of El Elyon on the Anshar plateau links to an underground pool at Havilah in North America.
